A simple lidded box, exclusively for vase mode printing. Stores my leaf tea.
The base of the box is a square (with rounded corners). The latched lid fits so that it does not extend beyond box outline.
I designed & use these boxes to store a few varieties of leaf tea (the 6×6×4.5cm box holds about 25g of leaf tea), as I failed to find nice mini tins for that. I find the box to be a nice kitchen container for dry loose stuff.
So far I printed this only with clear PET-G, 0.2mm layer height.
The model is customisable (to some extent) – you may open it in OpenSCAD and change multiple settings, among others wall thicknesses and outer dimensions.
Note that customising the model this way is strictly preferred to scaling the item, as the latter is likely to yield model that has issues both with printing and with performing well.
Heed that there is nothing in the `.scad` file to warn you if your input is out of a sane range, plus notorious numeric issues may cause rendering failure (even thoug
