I needed some kind of enclosure for a nixie clock (PCB and its gas lamps). Sometimes, one could easily get a 300V hit, which is not deadly due to super low power of the device, but still unpleasant. And although gas lamps have a nice warm glow, at night they would shine just too bright, so I had to take that in to account. I wanted something retro looking, like an old military devices, or an old gas lamp radio. How much I succeeded in capturing the look is for you to decide. The PCB's already came with some nuts and bolts, so I just used those for the assembly. Otherwise, the openings on the front cover are 2.5mm, and the accepting parts on the case are 2mm in diameter. I used are 2x8mm phillips bolts. On the side of the case there are 3 openings, one for the UBS cable, other two for the clock adjustments. Printables: Case: I used ASA, just because I had it in the printer. Otherwise I believe the model could be printed with any desired filament. No special setting. Just some support
