This is thing that you print and will show how much offset your printer can handle.
In my case:
-0.7 gap works more than perfect
-0.6 gap is fine
-0.5 is litlebit hard to get but works with little force and postprint work
-0.4 looks like it will work but I couldn't get it to move.
-0.3 nope
-0.2 nope
-0.1 only visible for eye
