The case for TO-8 optical sensors e.g.

with the BNC connector. In my case, I have used BNC for a panel

The case has the additional hole at the bottom for optical mounting post, specially designed for use with various optical table setups. Use black filament to lower/ minimize the reflection of light from the case.
