BackstoryAfter simply 3D printing the Sponge Holder from craigwedel, I found myself in a debate with a friend regarding the general utility of sponge holders. He adamantly rejected the idea of their necessity and remained unconvinced by my arguments regarding faster drying and reduced bacteria growth. Being an MD and scientist, he was determined to rigorously test my claims, going so far as to purchase a high-precision scale and agar plates. Not willing to concede defeat, I resolved to create a new sponge holder model, over-engineering it to highlight its advantages.
