Summary
This is an ESP8266-based multi-sensor that is mounted by plugging it into a standard US-type outlet.
It supports the following:
- AM312 motion sensor
- BH1750 light sensor
- SHT31-D temperature and humidity sensor
Features
- USB charger can be rotated to accommodate different outlet orientations
- Small PIR motion sensor housing can be angled toward area of interest
- Ventilation added to improve temperature and humidity readings. I didn't have good luck with the BME280. I still needed to calibrate the SHT31 so it isn't perfect.
- Small wiring access port for future expansion
- Snap-fit enclosure design
- Minimal size won't block the other outlet
