PanzerIV

The Panzer IV was the workhorse of Germany’s tank forces during World War II. It started out as a simple support vehicle, meant to help infantry break through defenses, but it quickly grew into something much more. Over time it was fitted with stronger armor and a powerful 75 mm gun, turning it into a true all-rounder on the battlefield. Unlike some of Germany’s more advanced tanks, which were complicated and expensive, the Panzer IV was reliable, adaptable, and produced in huge numbers. For many German crews, it was the machine they trusted most, carrying them through nearly every major campaign of the war.
