Parameteric Cable Grommet

I was trying to install my new printer into a steel cabinet. I had to drill a hole through the cabinet to pass the power cord, and I realized that the rough edges of the hole could damage the cable, so I needed a grommet. The hole was quite large because it had to pass the end of the plug, so none of my normal grommets would fit. I was trying to figure out how to protect the wire with tape when I realized that my new printer could help me out!

This is a parameteric grommet, so you specify the size of the hole, the thickness of the material to pass through, and the thickness and width of the flanges on either side of the material. It's also possible to break up one or both of the grommet flanges into tabs. I added the tabs because it can be so hard to push a full double flanged grommet through a hole, but this has the added benefit of making the infill easier to remove. The tabs and flanges can have an optional taper to make them easier to push into a hole.
