Since even among Stanley chisels of a given width the various other measurements differ from model to model, you should not expect the supplied covers (included as examples or as a basis for scaling) to fit particular chisels you have.

The simplest path to well-fitting covers is to measure your tools and use customizer to generate covers specific to your chisels.
