Parametric spike mat

This is a fully parametric spike mat designed to discourage animals from resting, walking, or climbing on flat surfaces. The mat dimensions, as well as the height, spacing, and profile of the spikes, can be customized to suit a wide range of applications. Common uses include ledges, planters, shelves, fences, and other surfaces where animals tend to linger. The design is intended to deter animals through surface discomfort rather than trapping or piercing, and is commonly used as a non-lethal deterrent when installed appropriately. Optional screw holes can be enabled for more permanent installation. For larger areas, the mat can be printed in sections and tiled together; oversized versions can also be split using your slicer’s Cut function. This model prints without supports and scales cleanly across different sizes due to its parametric construction.
