This is a parametric spool light storage. Basically it's a segmented halo that you can deploy around the spool groove, closing it for 360°. It is not airtight, but you can use some tape to achieve a certain degree. You can throw a few silica bags inside it to keep the moisture under control.
I included a pair of parametric spool hub caps as well, since some spools expose filament on that side as well.
It comes in 2 "print-in-place" sets of 3 segments each and it takes about 8 hours to print at a normal speed for a 1Kg spool. I tried to print it in 2 "print-in-place" segments only, but the overhangs fuse together and I threw everything away.
