I felt that I hit the limits of OpenSCAD when I used the thread library in the remixed object. And I also needed a matching thread for the cap of a Bosch AKE 35-19 S chainsaw. The result is the parametric threaded round cap here which was designed in FreeCAD.
The final STL for the mentioned chainsaw is also included.
