The idea of this thing is to allow a PCB to be mounted, offset from a surface, using 4 screws.
Often when I have to mount a PCB via its holes, I find that:
* I never have the screws that fit the PCB
* The screws will short against a nearby track on the PCB
* I never have the right 'spacers' needed to stop the PCB tracks from shorting against the metal surface it's to be mounted on.
* The holes in the PCB are not in a convienient location (often unevenly spaced)
This design addresses these:
* The screw holes can be adjusted in size in the .scad file (within limits)
* The screws press against the plastic mount, so there is no danger of shorting against PCB tracks.
* The mount has an inbuilt spacing to raise the PCB from the mounting surface. The height can be adjusted in the .scad file.
I made these for a custom PCB I was making, but the length can be adjusted in the .scad file so it should work for most PCBs, including Arduinos and the like.
