My first attempt at creating a functional item for my "doom" closet. Replacement wall brackets for an Amazon pegboard kit. The original brackets had adhesive that ruined my drywall when I had to remove them temporarily for a renovation. I wasn't able to salvage the original brackets. I couldn't find exact replacements and the Amazon storefront I got them from sent a whole new pegboard set when I asked if they could send me replacement brackets. I decided I did not want to deal with that adhesive again (not to mention I now have 4 more boards to hang) so I decided to try my hand at creating replacements myself. Created in TinkerCad and then printed with the Anycubic Kobra S1 with AnkerMake PLA+. Pegboard measurements: 28 cm x 28 cm 11 in x 11 in Brackets on back of pegboard were approximately at 6 cm and 22 cm at center of opening Still messing with settings in the slicer - the hook needs supports - but the default supports are super thick. Enabling a brim helped as well keep the corners down better. Planning to hang using heavy duty Command Strips (20 lbs) which is what the default hook adhesive was rated. Bracket measurements: 19 cm x 3 cm x .2 cm Install tip: They are not snug (intentionally so I didn't rip the Command strips off the wall/bracket when removing the plate) so to hang - I used a bit of painters tape to hold the bracket to the pegboard while positioning it on the wall.
