This is a tool designed to aid in sculpting cables, pipes, or tentacles.
Simply print 2 plates, roll a sausage of your preferred modeling clay or putty, put it between the two textured surfaces of the plates (texture running in the same direction) and slide the top plate back and forth in the direction of the texture, applying gentle even pressure.
Experiment with different orientations for different effects.
I have more texture designs for this but this is a trial.
I have not yet printed one of these out so I'm interested in any feedback on makes people do.
