Pipe Grip

This thing is used to tighten interlocking threaded collars onto a water input hose for a compressor.

Print interlayer adhesion may be problematic due to high shear stress. The design may require material more flexible than ABS, more testing required.

Print suitability test: Test if sufficiently flexible by applying force to one side of the "C" until the threads are offset from one another by one whole thread. Test for fit by placing it over water input hose and place into interlocking threaded collars.

It was designed in South Sudan by Ben Savonen for Field Ready, as part of a project with Water for South Sudan. only one part has been printed and no usage feedback has been received, so its unclear how effective this design is at this moment.
