Piston

The piston i made in class!!Im in 2nd year engineering at the moment and for one of our tests we had to design a piston. I made this in Catia V5!Thought I might as well print it out and it turned out really cool. The “red” highlighted points on the print are where u can add super glue to keep the locking pin in place. i didn't do this to my model as I didn't really care but if ur gonna use it as a keychain etc id highly recommend this. I've printed this model but idk where I put it so cant find a picture. i also added some oil to the locking pin to allow the piston rod thingo to move freely!change the size of the object to ur standards. I've made it bigger as any smaller with a .4 nozzle will mean the ribs on the top of the piston head will be printed weirdly (idk the actual word) due to the over hang. printing it bigger helped this issue. bigger overhang but not as detailed.
