This is a project that has been put on hold, as the new semester is here and I don't have time to devote to this. The engine is designed to run off pressurized gas. The model is currently missing the fly wheel, clips to hold the case together, screws for head cylinder and block, and in order for it to work as intended there needs to be an O-ring and ball bearing within the head to create a one-way check value. Depending on your printer and plastic there may be a need for piston rings too. Even with the missing parts, I see this model as a way to learn, and think that it could be used to help teach the most basic functions of an engine, and with some more effort and time, this model has potential to become a functional engine. Again, this is a proof of concept, and is not complete. If you have any questions or any requests, feel free to leave a comment. Thanks, and I wish well to all those heading back to school and such after this much needed Christmas break.
