Cryptex inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1740012 from Solenoid.
Model completely redesigned using Fusion 360, to improve it mechanically and qualitatively.
From a mechanical point of view, the dimensions and fittings have been reviewed in order to tune mechanical clearance and friction as much as possible.
So that it can be offered as a gift, I wanted to make it a very qualitative object both by printing it with wood filament, but also by adding a marquetry effect with pearly filament inserts in order to enhance the presentation. Two hologram patterns are also included on the top and bottom faces.
The principle used of double concentric rings allows you to change the combination to open the cryptex as you wish.
Beyond the two models presented and downloadable (1 ring or 7 rings), do not hesitate to ask me if you want a different number of rings, I will generate the STL files or I will send you my fusion 360 model which is configurable for any number of rings desired.
