Projector Screen Hook

**Engineering for Good:** 8th grade students used a human centered design process to create a solution for an authentic need in the community.

**Design Team:** Kenna, Sara, Colin, and Collins

**Need Statement:** Mr. Mularella needed a better way to pull down his projector screen because he could not reach it with his hands.

**Final Solution**: Students designed this hook that, when attached to a hockey stick, lets the user easily pull down the projector screen.

**Design Notes:**
1. The hook was intentionally designed with one flat side to eliminate the need for support material.
2. The idea of combining this hook with a hockey stick made use of other materials in the classroom and greatly reduced printing time.
