This is a filament buffer for Prusa i3 mk3s/mmu2s.
The Prusa filament buffer is somewhat awkward to use. It is difficult to get hold of the filament to feed it into the output PTFE tube after inserting it. It is then difficult to feed it forward through long PTFE tubes.
With this buffer, it is easier to insert and feed forward the filament. I also believe that it causes less resistance through friction and has a lower risk of filament breakage for filaments which are sensitive in that respect (like ColorFabb brassfill etc). It also takes less space, especially when mounted on a wall.
