3D printed pull-up handles for home training.
Print all big parts twice, for the small bar-holders print 4.
Drill out holdes in handles to receive the screws.
The 2 bar-plate holes in each handle side can be tapped for M3 bolts, or the bolts can be screwed in directly, taking care to not strip the plastic. Pre drill larger holes for the plates themselves, so that the screws can pass freely through those.
Mounting hardware:
- 6 x 5mm screws, use length that matches your wall, 20-25mm long screws can be used for mounting in plywood, use longer screws for wall studs, brick walls etc.
- 6 washers (I used 5,3mm inside diameter washers)
- 8 x M3 by 15mm machine screws
USE washers when attaching to a wall, to relieve stresses on the plastic handles.
Tested with a person of 70 kgs, use at your own risk!
Attach to the wall with long screws, and always use all the available screw holes, as each screw then needs to hold less weight.
I take no responsibility for the ha
