Steps to Install the Print-in-Place Hinge:1. Modify the Upper Back Lid:Locate the 3 middle screws in the upper back lid of the AMS unit.Remove these screws.Replace them with M3x16 or M3x20 screws, which will hold the hinge in place. Make sure they fit snugly and allow the hinge to pivot correctly.2. Prepare the Top Plate:Mark the locations where the hinge aligns with the top plate.Drill 3mm holes at these marked locations to accommodate M3 screws.Be cautious with the drilling depth to avoid any damage to the plate.3. Assemble the Hinge to the Top Plate:Insert M3x16 screws through the holes in the top plate.Secure them with M3 nuts on the other side of the hinge to fasten the top plate firmly to the hinge.4. Final Adjustments:Check the hinge movement to ensure smooth operation without excessive friction.Verify all screws are tight and the assembly is stable.
