They're designed to both save the AMS funnels and improve ergonomics and they have an additional PTFE route for the external spool function of Python AMS so you can easily load the spool either through the AMS or outside it (for abrasive filaments for example). This version is a lettered remix for those having multiple AMS units. The buttons available are: A1-A4, B1-B4, C1-C4, D1-D4. It is not compatible with the stock AMS as they are too tall.
