This rocket is a downscale of Derrick Deville's QU8K project. Derrick flew his QU8K rocket at Black Rock dessert to an astonishing 121,000 ft as his Carmack Prize entry.

Here are some hints for this project:

Print slow for the cone and fincan. The coupler, baffle and centering rings are internal to the rocket and can be printed a little faster.

The 24mm motor mount is mounted flush to the base of fincan. Use JB weld where the motor mount will adhere to fancan that will be in contact with most of the heat generated by the rocket motor.

All other components can be bonded with 5-minute epoxy for strength between the PETG and the cardboard tube.
