**BIG FAT WARNING:** Build and use at your own risk. I'm just sharing my thing but don't encourage you to build or use it. This thing is connected to mains voltage (risk of electrical shock, injuries/death or damage) and you should know what you're doing.

---

This is a mains switch / quicktester. I use it when I need to try something out using mains voltage and don't want to plug/unplug the mains plug every time I need to power the thing I'm working on. Also sometimes the component in question doesn't have a plug at all and I just want to connect it for tests.

This thing is basically a switch connected to mains voltage and providing clamps to connecting wires.

Required components:
- 1x Switch with light indicator (double-pole/two-pole NECESSARY)
- 3x Clamps (I used WAGO clamps w/ lever)
- Mains power cord (~1.5m, 3 wires) and mains plug
- Weights to give thing/device additional weight
