Like many others, I have designed my own swiss army style key holder,and I keep it tied onto a belt loop.

This is great for when I want to open doors, but if I need to lend my partner my keys then it is a mild inconvienience to remove it or undo the keyrings.

This gadget has a spring loaded release mechanism which allows me to attach and detach my keys in a second or two. A small time saved, but hopefully over the years it'll add up.
