Rainbowcloud

I made a sketch of an idea which resulted in this 3D model. This model can be used for instance as a fridgemagnet, keychain or christmas ornament. In my case a group of friends requested this model with some minor adjustments. The request was to make the cloud another color and add some text. The result can be seen in the photos. This is just to show an example of what is possible with this model. I made a total of 3 print profiles: Rainbowcloud_1AMSThis profile is optimized for using 1 AMS and is the one I prefer the most. This profile minimizes filament swaps and can be assembled without glue. The base is printed with 4 colors: the backplate, the cloud, the first rainbow line and the last rainbow line. The reason the first and last rainbow lines are printed is because you can print and add the other colors seperatly which minimizes waste and only requires 1 AMS. Because of the friction between the lines, it is possible to assemble it without glue. For a secure fit I would advise to s
