ATTENTION: THIS IS DESIGNED TO BE MILLED FROM METAL!!!
This design can not be 3D printed out of plastic.
This is my take on a passively cooled raspberry pi 4 case. Its designed to offer enough coolant abilities to handle 100% CPU load for a Extended period of time without having the pi clock down due to over temperature issues.
The top case makes direct contact with the CPU, Memory, Ethernet Controller and USB Controller. It was test fitted with the 8GB model, if you are using another version please verify if the Memory heat absorber makes correct contact.
I milled mine out of 5083 Aluminium, with this the CPU temperature stayed safely below 65°C in an ambient temperature of 25°C.
Only the external facing ports of the PI are accessible with this design, it does not offer access to the GPIO header, the DSI and the CSI Port.
M2.5 Screws are used to hold everything together (Threads are not modelled in, only the 2.1mm hole is in the model).
