This is a new design based on my first one which you can see here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2140518
The idea is completely different, so it's possible that you prefer the other one. Personally, I prefer this one because is a strengthen design and it can hold LED strips.
I have connected the LED strips to the rpi through a MOSFET in order to illuminate the plate when a photo or video is going to be taken.
I have use a LED cabinet as bar for holding the rpi mount and the LED strips. All the parts are designed for those bars, which I think have standard dimensions (10 x 18 cm).
