Less than 2 weeks after getting my 3D printer, I managed to (somewhat) successfully print a camera case for my Raspberry Pi Zero.
I used the ‘Raspberry Pi Zero W Security Camera’ design by agilliam. (Many thanks).
I searched around for a suitable wall mount and couldn’t find anything.
Having never designed or used cad software in my life, I thought there was no way until I looked at ‘TinkerCAD’. First look I thought was so limited it was of no use, then I watched a few videos about how to use it and realised you can make almost anything out of basic shapes.
So, here is my first attempt ever.
I had to print it in 3 parts, one for the camera swivel mount so I can pan and tilt (manually adjust of course), then a stand off to get it away from the wall and a simple wall plate.
It isn’t very strong, but luckily the weight of the camera is not much at all so it will work fine.
A few notes for anyone that wants to make it:
