Riddle

This is a recreation of a riddle I had as a child, it was made out of metal, but i decided to use my 3D printer to make it. Its made out of two pieces, which are printed seperatly. The goal is to connect them in a way presented on the image. There is no force needed to obtain this goal. Do you think you can solve it yourself?
