Wanted to share this static robot toy model that my 9 year old nephew and I designed. He calls them A-124 (tiny robot trooper) and B-124 (big robot trooper).
We started with pencil and paper. Our approach was to focus on each of the head, body, arm, and locomotion designs at a time. Then we voted on each style and a final drawing was completed.
He looked on carefully and acted as an advisor as I took his sketch and modeled it in Fusion 360. Through the entire paper to model design process, we discussed about printability, balance, proportions, upgradability, and timeline.
Amazes me to see how creative kids are! Hope you enjoy the outcome of his work!
I'm excited to take his upgrade notes and create the next X-124 Release.
