Router Coping SledThis coping sled is useful for making shaker style door. The sled is offset ¾" from the router table fence. Watch this short clip on how a router coping sled works. Two holes are located on the side of the body guide that you can screw a waste board into. This will help prevent blowout in the end grain. This sled uses a Bessey Auto Adjust Toggle Clamp. It's important when clamping your work piece do not apply too much pressure on it, this will cause the body of the sled to flex. You want to apply just enough pressure to hold the work piece in place. You can use other toggle clamps but you will need to locate your own holes. A STEP file has been included to modify it to fit your hole pattern. Position your router table fence to be inline with the bearing on your router table.
