I was given an old Ryobi light without a battery so I converted it to a lithium powered unit. This is a cell holder that plugs directly into the light. It has a BMS attached (kind of required to protect the cell). You also need to attach, weld, tabs to the cell to drape down the sides for contact to the light. The second part is a charger base to recharge the cell using a 5 volt supply, a USB charger is perfect. If you are savvy enough you can wire in a port on the light to the cell. You will need a way to keep the cell inside the light, I made a crude cover for mine. Also I swapped out the bulb with a 3 - 4 volt LED bulb (Amazon).
