Scan Stand

My goal is to archive and share the work of my math students. Scanning their tests, quizzes and projects and then archiving them in a shared Googledocs folder. Scanning all this work would be too much for one teacher so I require my students to do it themselves by using their own smart phones or this "classroom" scanner. The advantage of this design is that the ipod is secured and that it is on a wifi network (so students don't need to use their personal data). There are many good scanner apps that are both free or have pay versions. I am using Scanner Pro. I also have installed "airscanner" (found here - //www.qrayon.com/home/airscanner/). This makes the stand into a wireless document camera that transmits to a browser.
