SD Cube

DESCRIPTION:
This is a modular SD card storage system that can be printed to store a number of cards suiting your needs. I prefer to have 7 cards per cube, (it is not excactly a cube, more of a a rectangular box shape) but you can storage to hold up to 20 or more SD cards per cube. The system has individual locking mechanism for each SD card to prevent it from falling out eccidentally. The Locking mechanism also doubles up as lever to eject cards seperately.

The system is made up from 3 components,
1 A storage shelf
2 A card ejection/locking lever
3 A top cover.

To make a larger capacity box, you can print more of pieces 1 and 2. But each box needs only one top cover.

ASSEMBLY:
Storage shelves have registration pins and recesses to allign a shelf to the one above it. Shelves are glued to each other by carefully applied CA adhesive to the pins or the recesses. When the required number of shelves has been glued, the top cover is similarly glued to the top shelf.
