Sensor Enclosure

This design is a classic enclosure you will seldom find on PCB mounted CMOS cameras. It is basically a CMOS sensor housing modified for one of my projects in which i wanted to place a sensitive photo-diode mounted flat on the PCB within an enclosure.

It does consume a lot of PCB space but was suitable for my application. With careful PCB design several SMD components can be placed withing the housing alongwith the sensor.
