Testing a design change that gets rid of the sidesprings and instead using steel balls and a spring in the shaft for the gear shifting feeling since the printed sidesprings always breaks apart so the previous edit with the addition of carbon blades does not work. The front and rear "spring plates" is still up to the task and no replacement of those has been needed since the beginning.

Sidesprings are changed to a thin design and you have to add something yourself that acts as a leaf spring. 3mm in thickness on each is needed. I'm currently using strips of 1mm thick carbon fiber, 3 on each side.

This is my take on a sequential simracing shifter. It is still experimental after som problems and different designs of the "Spring side.stl". The current design and choice of material seems to work
The goal is to get more of a gear shifting feel than other printable designs Iv'e come across.
The design uses "Sidesprings" to give
