Shelf Clothes Rack

I need a clothes rack where I can hang my jacket and hoodie instead of hanging them with washed clothes or throwing them on a chair nor couch.
But I don’t want to buy one because my room is small, and I don’t want a rack to take up more floor space.
So I made this rack that can be attached to bookshelves or most shelves (as long as you are willing to drill a hole on the shelf).
This old bookshelf came from Walmart and the side panel thickness is 16.1mm (0.63 inches). With some books and other stuff, its self-weight is sufficient to support the tilt caused by several pieces of clothing.

If you don't need a full-size rack and want to hang only a few clothes, have a shelf in the room and you are willing to drill a hole on it, then I think this hanger is suitable for you.
