Silver Beam

I made this model as a kind of visualization of a sword in an upcoming novel that I write.
It is a 1 meter long longsword, I know that a real longsword is at least 1.6 meters long but made is slightly smaller since a full size will also probably break under its own mass if made of plastic.
I invested days on the desgin and it took me around 36 hours of printing, not including failed parts and other parts that did not meet for final design.
The sword in the novel has a gem slots on two sides of the guard, which would give it special power in the story.
Maybe future version of this model would also include interchangeable gems.
I hope you'd enjoy printing this as much as I did.

UPDATE:
Added full lenght blade for those with printers big enough to print in one part.
Highly recommand that the guard and handle will have a higher infill and mass so the blade won't snap off when trying to pick it up.
