In my quest to tidy up my printer wires, I downloaded several Cable Chains, just to find they have a small hole everything has to be fed through.
Poked around more, found some with open trough that requires extra piece snapped or glued in to hold wires.
Many look very nice, but not very simple to deal with.
SIMPLE is King in My book.
So I tried my hand making my own, yes, I made some complicated chains, then made changes to easy it up.
Then BOOM! I came up with over/under concept.
Made a few more to proof concept, then tidy it up, make changes, this, that, blah blah blah...
After many protos, here is my Simple Cable Chain.
it prints a a Print In Place, with minimum supports, no need for raft, just Brim.
for single pieces, the Outey piece needs support everywhere to make holes, but every other piece only needs Build Plate Support.
Print is just over nine inches, so I included one with fewer pieces (six inches) for smaller printers.
