Sliding Gate Padlock

Based on a iron hand forged sliding gate padlock. Needs an actual spring to work but you can use the model as a template to make one from spring steel.

I used a soldering iron to melt the rivets in to hold things in place.
The enclosure should be riveted to the front plate.

This was made to help me design the missing latch and key on my lock but its a great learning tool for these kind of locks.
