This designed for the type of sponge in the pics, however i think it might work for standard square style sponges too.The handle has a hole for if you want to run a string through, and hang it. It also has a slot so you can mount it off a box.You will need to push the 2 stakes through the sponge to make the holes that retain the sponge, try to ensure you do it low down as possible so the rest of the sponge acts like a spring to push the handle up.So when you press the handle down you actually squeeze the sponge.This design will really only work for sponges with the standard height, and not the low narrow style sponges.
