Printing Tips: Materials: Red parts: C-TECH Premium Line PETG Black parts: Sunlu Neat Winding PLA Spring and ratchet: PETG for durability Propeller: Use HIPS or ABS if possible (prints well on an Ender 3 without an enclosure). A lighter propeller offers better performance, though PETG may break after a few uses. Settings: Print with 2 perimeters and 10% rectilinear infill. Use random Z-seams on the propeller to minimize weak points. Print the shaft with a brim for better adhesion. Assembly: Attach the handle carefully, using tweezers to guide filament pins into the holes. Filament pins: Top and bottom plate: 4 x 20.6mm (can be trimmed after assembly). Ratchet and handle connection: Max 24.2mm. Handle connection: 3 x Max 15mm. Glueing: Test functionality before applying glue. Glue is optional but recommended for stability. Usage Instructions: Wind the spring using the propeller holder: 3 turns: ~30cm launch. 3.5 turns: ~2m launch. 4 turns: Max reasonable amount. 4.9 turns: Risk of damage. Attach the propeller. Press the trigger to launch. Repeat and enjoy!
