Spring Mold

Turn your leftover 1.75 mm PLA filament into the ultimate cat toy! Use this mold to make a spring your cat will love. This model was designed based on the idea of the device for PLA springs, with a few modifications:The mold is made for use with 1.75 mm filament.The produced spring has 4.5 turns.The attachment ring at the bottom of the mold enables use without the need for tape.The top surface has the required filament dimensions embossed.To create a spring:Cut a 30 cm long piece of PLA filament.Soften the filament in 80°C (175°F) water for 3-5 min.Insert a tip of the filament into the small opening at the top of the mold.Press the filament into the grove from top to bottom of the mold.Insert the second end of the filament into the small ring at the bottom of the mold.
