This is a (first ever?) 3D Printed Axial Spring! On both ends, it has dovetails to allow it to attach easily onto other components (see dwg picture). Springs are very important mechanical components essential to any mechanism. They exert a restoration force proportional to its stiffness and axial deflexion.
