Set of spurgear containing:
n = 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 (number of theeth)
MM = 2, 3 (Metric Module)
Please comment if you need gears with other toothcounts or metric modulus (standards are: 1, 2, 2.3, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10...).
Relevant parameters for a gear box design:
Gear Pitch:
p = pi * MM
Pitch Circle Diameter of the gear
PD = n * MM
Distance between the gearshafts:
d = (PD1/2)+(PD2/2)
Outside Diameter of the gear:
OD = (n+2) * MM
Gear Transmission Ratio:
i = n2/n1 = PD2/PD1 = r1/r2 = M2/M1 (where r is the rpm/rps M is the torque of each gear)
The names of the files are giving information about the metric module and the number of theeth: Gear_"metric module"_"number of theet"
Please use the uploaded step-files to add the hole for the driveshaft if needed.
