Stargate Base

I liked this halve of my original bookends model so much, I thought I would remix it as a standalone model. Although I have used some elements from the original, most of the model needed to be completely remodel.

As with my original I printed with an infill of 30% on the larger pieces and 70% on the smaller.

The smaller parts also needed a brim to help secure them to the bed and I left supports active for the entire print just in case they were needed.

Some parts needed a little work to make them fit properly before assembly.
The model was glued together with standard super glue, painted with acrylics and finished with a protective clear coat.
