Steampunk Jumping Spider comes in 2 formats: a scalable static .stl and a no supports, print in place, articulated model; allowing the model to be printed as a single object table top miniature or a articulated model which prints flat and unsupported then folds easily into its final shape.The steampunk sci-fi genre, which employs advanced re-imagination of 19th century technology, was an inspiration for this model which is supposed to be a steam powered and mechanically controlled spider based on complex gear arrangements.The model is suitable as a toy, a tabletop miniature, decoration, gift.The download includes 3 design variations of the model:1. Standard eyes (eyes are spherical with no patterns, they can be directly printed in colour if required)2. 8mm recess for glass eye beads (glass eye beads can be easily purchased online with 8mm being a popular standard diameter, the choice of different styles of eye will allow you to customize your creation)3. Cartoon eyes (patterns printed on standard spherical eyes allowing colour printing or easy painting)Model files are provided in .3mf, .stl and .step formats.Material use = approx. 70 gramsPrint time = approx. 9 hours (Bambu P1P)Enjoy!
